Last month had a lot of highlights. At work things went bad, more escalations. Burning midnight oil. Kid falling sick. Simply it was not a pleasant one.
I was wondering whether AI is to be embraced or shunned. Then later I came across a comparison of AI with Electricity. That made more sense. AI is a tool. A powerful tool. Either I can use it to become powerful enough to withstand the storm or get blown away.
It has been couple of months I started using AI - the Copilot. It has more capabilities than what I expected.
At home, I tried Ollama. My intention was to redesign my blog. But my 10-year-old mac is not ready to pull it off. Finally, I’ve decided to subscribe to Codex. There was a intense and long discussions on what to subscribe for Codex or Claude. They’re priced similarly. At the Copilot’s insistence I’m going to make SAMA rich by 2000 INR. No offense Dario, may be some other month you’ll get your turn.
There was a blue wave Yesterday. It was so big the mighty Texas turned out to be blue.
While the news channels and experts are explaining what midterm election is and how it will change Trump’s course, I am wondering here about the second order effect. By Jan 2027 the Dems will start asking tough questions.
Think about this - you’re the powerful person. But in few days your powers will be clipped. What will you do?
- Either you start being nice and expect some relief. Or,
- You think its too late and try to be more intense
