It’s been a huge drama right from the preparation to election till the vote counting. And, even now the counting is not over - the Senate & the House results are awaited.

Some interesting finds from the past week Big Bazaar Story During college days, we visit Big Bazaar to have their ice cream. Ice cream connoisseurs may not agree, but for us, a small group of college kids who depend on pocket money for this occasional eat out, the Big Bazaar was the goto place.

Chinese officials revised rules that govern the sale of certain kinds of technology to foreign buyers. The updated list includes data processing, speech and text recognition — the kind of tech that experts say is used by the popular short-form video app.

Weekly Update - Aug 30, 2020

Let’s revisit the interesting things that I came across in between last Monday and today (August 30, 2020). Positive News Apart from recoveries, I don’t see any positive news in the last week. As of 29th, the number of recovery is 2.712M, with total cases at 3.539M. Recovery rate @ 75+ Negative News As if the COVID-19 pandemic is not enough, the state of Assam is worst affected by flood in Brahmaputra river.

The future generations must be viewing this as a biggest psychological experiment, worst case scenario and the inhumane practice to save humanity and much more. This is COVID-19 lockdown. Lockdown was imposed on March 25th 2020. Being a social animal, we went through a lot. The ill effects of lockdown ranges from anxiety induced due to potential job loss - historic unemployment rate, potential downturn of investments in coming years, struggling to keep up with daily work-from-home with it’s own challenges.

COVID-19: Political change on the cards?

The outbreak is here. Turned into Pandemic, spreading across geographies without much of obstacles. The impact is felt in so many domains, from hospitals to hospitality, from tourism industry to ride-sharing. Governments are scrambling to slow down its spread. The corporates are equipping employees with work-from-home options. Unorganized sector is going for a toss. So, how could the COVID-19 affect the governing bodies? Late 2010s and the raise of Nationalists The Nationalists or Conservatives or Right wingers are in raise in the 2nd half of 2010s, across the world.
